Discover a selection of Australia’s iconic eucalypts as you follow this self-guided walk through the Australian National Botanic Gardens. Pick up a printed brochure from the Visitor Centre and follow the map to 20 different species of eucalypt. Each of the featured trees has an attractive and informative sign describing key features of that species. The walk covers a distance of 1.8 km and will take around 1 hour.

The project was funded by the Bjarne K Dahl Trust and the Friends’ Public Fund. Research for the signs and brochure was done by members of the Friends with input from Gardens’ staff.

The Eucalypt Discovery walk information is  refreshed regularly to include different trees to replace those which have died or have had to be removed.

The self-guided walk brochure with a map showing the location of the different species is available here
