Fire and Water Walk

Tuesday, 14 June 2022 - 11:00am to 12:00pm

Fires of varying intensities have a significant impact on Australia’s landscapes; some plants rely on or respond well to fire, while others are killed by fire. Some plants need continuous water, in wetlands, while others prefer dry conditions. A volunteer guide will show you examples of all of these in a free tour.

Daily from Monday June 13th to Sunday June 19th 11am-12 noon. Meet at the clock near the bridge. No booking required for individuals, but groups of seven or more people should contact walks@friendsanbg.org.au a week before the planned walk.
