Peta Alderman 'Honouring the War Dead'

Peta Alderman will describe horticulture and the work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission in Australia and Papua New Guinea. The talk will consider the role of horticulture in commemoration and creating a sense of place for sites within Australia as we near the Centenary of ANZAC.

Peta Alderman is State Manager Western Australia, Office of Australian War Graves. She is responsible for ensuring that the War Graves remain poignant, dignified and significant for their horticulture and monuments.
