The Canberra Branch of the Australian Native Plants Society (ANPS) runs an annual big trip, which last year was to the Red Centre. A group from ANPS travelled for three weeks through the spectacular scenery of the East and West MacDonnells and beyond, exploring rugged gorges and seeing the plants in flower. The challenge was in naming the many species that were seen as no flora is complete for this vast and diverse area.Today Roger will show the audience a small selection of the species the group observed according to habitat and landscape.

Dr Roger Farrow, formerly of CSIRO, is a member of the ANPS.
