New Life Members, John and Maureen Connolly, with their awards
The 29th AGM of the Friends was held at the Gardens on Tuesday 31 October.
The reports presented to the meeting, and the minutes of the previous AGM, were accepted and are available here:

Three new Council members were elected:
- Jann Ollerenshaw as Secretary
- Wendy Antoniak and Linda Beveridge as Council members.
The President, Lesley Jackman, welcomed these new members and thanked the retiring Council members (David Cox, Jan Finley, and Rita Maclachlan) for their work and support.
John and Maureen Connolly were invested as life members of the Friends for their excellent and continuing contributions over many years.
After the AGM closed, ANBG General Manager Peter Byron gave a talk on his recent attendance at the 6th Global Botanic Gardens Conference recently held in Geneva, and an associated visit to Kew Gardens in London.
