Dr Mathew Trinca ‘Writing the Brindabellas: Country, landscape and nation’

Mathew will present stories and ideas about the Brindabellas, ranging from First Nations’ stories to tales of the more recent past like My Brilliant Career and the poems of Banjo Patterson.
Mathew is a Professor of Museum Practice and was the Director of the National Museum of Australia until last year. He is also a Commissioner for Culture and Olympic Heritage for the International Olympic Committee, an Honorary Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities, and sits on several arts and cultural boards and advisory bodies.
