If you wish to find out more about our unique Australian plants then join our plant workshops.
These hands-on sessions include classification, recognition, and identification together with other plant related information.
Microscopes and other tools will be used, and participants will be provided with training in the use of identification keys.
Our workshops
A session was held on acacias to coincide with Wattle Week in September 2023, and another on Proteaceae in October.
Since then sessions have been held about native grasses, electronic plant databases and the family Asteraceae.
Any member of the Friends is welcome to participate. Check the monthly e-bulletins to see what sessions are available during the year.
