SUMMARY:Cameras and Cafe Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join members of the Photographic Group for a stimulating and friendly photo walk. \nAs usual\, be at the bus stop at 8.40 am to take advantage of the cooler hours. Participants can choose to move around the Gardens as a group or head off with their camera individually. We reconvene for a snack and beverage at Pollen Cafe at around 10.30 am. \nAt least one person from the Friends of ANBG Photographic Group Committee will be there to get things started\, orchestrate introductions and provide help if needed. All levels of photographic knowledge and equipment are welcome.

DESCRIPTION:The last monthly meeting for 2025 will take place on Friday 28 November 2025 at 10 am in the Theatrette. \nGraham Gall will be the speaker. His topic will be the Birdlife Photography Biennial Conference which takes place in Canberra on 7 and 8 March 2026. Hear about who will be speaking\, associated birding outings and what else is on the program from Graham\, who is Chair of the organising committee. \nThe meeting will include a regular show-and-tell segment in which participants share images and the inspiration behind them.

DESCRIPTION:Graham Gall will lead a macro photography workshop on Saturday 11 October. It will cover both theory and practice and will run from around 10.00 am until 4.00 pm in the Celia Rosser room and surrounding gardens. \nGraham is a highly professional photographer who has extensive experience in capturing stunning images of native Australian fauna and flora. \nParticipation is free for Photography Group members.
