Campsis is a good way to find out what's happening in botanic gardens around Australia. In this issue you will find articles about:

  • the 5th Global Botanic Gardens Conference, which was held in Dunedin in October 2013;
  • the Australasian Conference of Volunteer Guides in Botanic Gardens, which was held in Christchurch in October 2013;
  • the forthcoming Association conference at the Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens in August 2014;
  • the new Red Centre Garden at the ANBG;
  • Heritage Weekend in Ballarat;
  • recent events at Sydney Botanic Gardens;
  • the opening of the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens at Bowral, NSW;
  • the centenary of Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden in Cape Town, South Africa;
  • and news from many other botanic gardens including Eurobodalla, Geelong, Gold Coast, Mackay, Maroochy, National Arboretum, Noosa, Orange, Highfield, Melbourne, Tamworth, Warnambool, Daylesford.

Campsis is published electronically twice a year. It is edited by Anne Rawson, who is a member of the Friends of the ANBG and a part of the team which produces our own newsletter, Fronds.

Update: with issue 45, in November 2015, the name of the publication was changed to Eucalypt
