Jane, ANBG Librarian and Archivist, will share some of the delightful and diverse artworks from the ANBG Library and Archives collection which have been inspired by Australia's native plants
Abstract
The ANBG Library and Archives is home to a very special collection of artworks inspired by Australia’s beautiful native plants. If you’ve ever wanted to know more about the artworks in the collection, come along to hear about a selection of the works and the artists who created them. Some of the highlights of the collection include works by Collin Woolcock and Dr Gillian Scott. Immediately following the talk, a selection of the artworks will be on display for closer viewing.
Biography
Jane Black joined the ANBG as the Librarian and Archivist at the end of 2017. Prior to joining the ANBG, Jane worked in public, academic, school and government libraries in Australia and the UK.
