The June 2019 edition of Library Connect (PDF, 447 kB) includes:
- A new mobile app and plant key, Plants of South Eastern New South Wales, has just been released as an online Lucid key and mobile app available in Android and Apple formats. The key has been compiled by Betty Wood over five years. It includes approximately 2,900 species, with around 10,000 photographs.
- Linda Broadhurst from the Centre for Australian National Biodiversity Research is one of the editors and authors of the recently-released third edition of the Guidelines for the Translocation of Threatened Plants in Australia.
- Former artist-in-residence at the ANBG, Julie Ryder, will present a lecture entitled Ocean’s Gay Flowers: uncovering the mysteries of Australian seaweed collections of the 19th century at the Canberra Museum and Gallery at 6pm on 13 June.
