Black Mountain Weeding Work Party

Thank you to the wonderful weed work party that removed many thousands of the Red Passionflower weed. Our next weeding work party is planning to remove more weeds from the grassland and woodland areas in the southwest part of the reserve, on Saturday 5 February 2022. 

Details of the next weeding work party are:

Date: Saturday, 5 February 2022, 8:30am to 11:30am.  

Meet:  Caswell Drive entry on the mountain side.

Drive from Belconnen Way southwards along Caswell Drive towards Glenloch Interchange, Woden, or Tuggeranong. Note the yellow diamond shape advisory sign showing access road on left (mountain side) and the blue and white “P” sign for parking. Pull into the carpark carefully.
Look for banners.

Bring:  BYO morning tea.

Wear:  hat, sunscreen, long-sleeved shirt, long pants, gloves, stout shoes.

We shall break for delicious morning tea at about 10am.
