Over twenty Friends were fortunate to have a warm and sunny day for the tour of the interior courtyard gardens at Parliament House on 4 October. Paul Janssens, the Director of Landscape Services at Parliament House led the tour. Paul’s commentary included the history, structure of the courtyard spaces, information about plants both exotic and native (and their different landscape treatments). It was interesting to observe the beautiful combination of both native and exotic plants.
We hope to repeat this tour in autumn 2013.
