Abstract
This talk will provide an overview of the key findings from the 24 years of work by the Sustainable Farms project at the Australian National University that focused on temperate woodland conservation on farmland. The work spans more than 650 long-term sites from central Victoria to south-east Queensland and the outcomes of more than 120 peer-reviewed scientific articles highlights how we can better manage replantings, establish more sustainable grazing regimes and renovate farm dams to produce major biodiversity dividends. The quality of part of this work was recognized in a recent Eureka Prize – https://australian.museum/get-involved/eureka-prizes/2022-eureka-prize-winners/
