Bill Handke ‘Making Mynas less common: returning the balance to native birds’

Our natural environment and our gardens are at serious risk from the introduced Indian Myna (or Common Myna). Bill will talk about the award-winning action Canberra Indian Myna Action Group (CIMAG) has taken to reduce the risk in Canberra and elsewhere.

Bill Handke is President of CIMAG. He is a keen birdwatcher and nature lover who has been aware of the issues around feral animals for a long time, as a retired senior public servant who worked in the area of natural resource management.
