The 28th AGM was held on Wednesday 19 October.

Reports were given by the President, Lesley Jackman; Treasurer, Helen Elliot; and ANBG Executive Director, Dr Judy West.

This year all Council positions were up for re-election. Nominations were received for:

President Lesley Jackman
Vice President David Cox
Treasurer Helen Elliot
Council Members Christianna Cobbold
  Jan Finley
  Rita Maclachlan
  Jonette McDonnell
  David More

These nominees were declared elected without the need for a vote.

Life membership of the Friends was conferred on one of our longest-standing and most active members, Kath Holtzapffel. Fleur Kelleher reminded us of all that Kath has done, and still does, in the Gardens and for the Friends.

The AGM was followed by a talk on the new Ian Potter Conservatory, to be built at the Gardens, by Peter Byron (ANBG General Manager) on behalf of project consultant Annabelle Pegrum.
