The Australian National Botanic Gardens ClimateWatch Trail was launched on 22 May 2012 as part of the International Day for Biological Diversity celebrations. Funded by the Friends and developed in partnership with Earthwatch Australia, the trail enables visitors to become 'citizen scientists', monitoring changes in flowering times and nesting patterns of plants and animals in the Gardens.
