We regret that all events due to take place at the ANBG in March have been cancelled, due to the coronavirus prevention measures.

Plant biosecurity plays an important role in protecting the health of botanic gardens, the natural environment and production forests. As an active member of the community surrounding your botanic garden you can get involved in plant biosecurity and surveillance by participating in a workshop on Pests of Eucalyptus, to be held on National Eucalypt Day 2020.

The workshop will include several presentations by experts with a focus on biosecurity and exotic pests of Eucalyptus. Following the presentations we will head out into the Australian National Botanic Gardens to undertake field surveillance for pests of Eucalyptus.

The workshop is being coordinated by the Botanic Gardens Biosecurity Network which was established by Plant Health Australia with funding from the Australian Department of Agriculture. For further details about the workshop please call Plant Health Australia on 02 6215 7715 or email botanicgardens@phau.com.au.
