Look but Don’t Touch: Techniques and Opportunities for Summer and Winter Digital Macro Photography
Tim Leach is a retired Consultant Engineer and has been a member of the Photographic Group for 2 years. He has a self-taught, long-term interest in photography generally and in digital macro photography and the natural world in particular.
The presentation will cover macro photography techniques developed personally over recent years and across a range of indoor and outdoor conditions, from normal summer ambient to sub-zero winter. The presentation will draw on examples of macro images, with an emphasis on insects, to illustrate the techniques involved, the lessons learnt, and a range of macro photography considerations and opportunities

The Photographic Group meet on the last Friday of the month at 10.30am in the Gardens Theatrette.

Stuart Harris, Canberra’s Peacock Spider Man: ‘Finding and photographing Peacock Spiders’.
Stuart is a citizen scientist and discoverer of a number of new Peacock Spider species.
