Black Mountain Weeding Work Party

Dear Friends of Black Mountain,

We thank our wonderful August work party for removing about 450 woody weeds, which made a difference.

There are more woody weeds to remove, and we look forward to seeing everyone at our next weeding work party.  Below are the details of that work party, and the booking link.

Date: Saturday, 5 September 2026, 9:00am to 12 noon
Meet:  Caswell Drive entry on the mountain side.
Drive from Belconnen Way southwards along Caswell Drive towards Glenloch Interchange, Woden, or Tuggeranong. Note the yellow diamond shape advisory sign showing the access road on the left (mountain side) and the blue and white “P” sign for parking. Pull into the carpark carefully.  Look for banners.

Wear:  Hat, sunscreen, long-sleeved shirt, long pants, gloves, stout shoes.

We shall break for delicious morning tea at about 10:30am.
