The Friends of Black Mountain and Friends of the ANBG are removing woody weeds from ANBG Northern Extension.
Please note the CHANGE to our meeting place.
Looking forward to seeing you at our next weeding party on the first Saturday of the month. We will be weeding near Frith Road with our new tools on the weeds and have a delicious morning tea. We removed about 700 weeds last time, but they may not be quite so dense with weeds next time and we may be walking a little more between weeds.
The details are:
When: Saturday, 2 August 2014, 9.00 to 12.00noon.
Meet: Next to the ACTEW Substation on Frith Road, Acton. Drive along Frith Road behind the CSIRO, turn to the right at the corner then park next to the ACTEW Substation.
Bring: Enthusiasm, your family and friends, water, (and your favourite secateurs and/or pruning saw and or loppers, if you wish)
Wear: Hat, sunscreen, long-sleeved shirt, long pants, gloves, stout shoes. Everyone is welcome.
Our delicious morning tea will be about 10.30am
