May – a great time to visit the Gardens

There’s lots to see and do at the Gardens this May.

Botanic Gardens Week runs from the 18th to the 24th May. This year’s theme is Where Your Health Grows highlighting how botanic gardens strengthen mental, physical, and social wellbeing, connect communities, and provide spaces to rest, move, and reconnect with nature.

The Grow Your Health Challenge takes place throughout the whole of May. Simply undertake one or more of the six prescribed wellbeing activities or a Botanic Garden Week event.

Each daily visit qualifies for an entry to the competition, so the more you visit, the more chances to win!

To enter, complete a wellbeing prescription and scan the QR code. It’s that simple! Be sure to share and tag a photo #WhereYourHealthGrows #BGW2026 #ANBG.
