Join a free guided walk to get up close and personal to our wonderful Australian flora, focusing on the interesting details of Australian plants that we might not notice at first glance. These one-hour guided walks are held at 11am and 2pm each day Monday 15 June to Sunday 21 June.

Rosemary, a retired plant ecologist, will talk about her trip to the floodplains of the Cooper Creek and associated areas in SW Queensland, chasing the post-flooding rains surge in flowers.
The next Cameras and Café Walk will be held on Saturday 20 June 2026. To be part of it you need to be at the bus stop at 8.40 am. Participants can choose to move around the Gardens as a group or head off with their camera individually. We reconvene for a chat at Pollen Cafe at around 10.30 am.
Fiona, Threatened Species Commissioner, will talk about recent developments with the implementation of the Threatened Species Action Plan 2022-2032, and awareness raising events in the community.
The next Photographic Group regular meeting is at 10.00 am Friday 26 June. The feature of this meeting will be a session conducted by Cristy Froehlich to constructively critique images brought to the meeting by members specifically for this purpose.
