What lies beneath Antarctic ice shelves? Duanne, from University of Canberra, will show field studies of how warm ocean currents, past and present, are melting the weak underbelly of the ice sheet in the Denman Glacier region.
Graham Gall will be the speaker. His topic will be the Birdlife Photography Biennial Conference which takes place in Canberra on 7 and 8 March 2026.
To get to the next Weeding event, please park in the bottom row of the ANBG southern carpark (enter through the Gardens’ main gate then turn left immediately and park in the bottom row. If you are not already a member of the Friends of ANBG, a temporary parking permit will be arranged for you.)
Join members of the Photographic Group for a stimulating and friendly photo walk. Meet at the bus stop at 8.40 am.
Our next weeding work party will meet in the bottom row of the southern car park, ANBG. Bring water and a friend. Everyone is welcome. Wear hat, sunscreen, long-sleeved shirt, long pants, gloves, stout shoes.
