Professor Eric Warrant ‘The art of coming far with a tiny brain: The remarkable navigational abilities of the Australian Bogong moth’
In his talk, Eric will reveal how the nocturnal Bogong Moth, Agrotis infusa - uses the Earth's magnetic field, the starry night sky and highly specific odours to fly 1000 kilometres to remote caves in the Australian Alps where they spend the summer.

The next Growing Friends Autumn sale will take place from 9.00am–11.30am (although typically sold out by 10am) in the Banksia Centre Carpark.There will be over 1000 plants to choose from: grasses, groundcovers, small and large shrubs as well as a limited number of ferns.
